The Note 10 +, which was released a couple of months after the launch S10 & S10+, is one of the most beautiful phones that have been released this year. Though not as feature packed as the S10+, the Note 10+ has its own attractions. As you can see above, the Note 10+ has a beautiful and durable glass on its front and back sides which make the whole phone glisten even in dim lighting. And the use of an aluminum frame has always been a cherry on the top from Samsung. It has also been seen in previous Samsung phones and has always been a great addition.
Starting with the oh-so-beautiful screen (sigh, just like the S10 series), the Note 10+ also has a Dynamic AMOLED Screen which is a staggering 6.8 inches big and is also an Infinity-O Display. Though it has a lesser pixel density of 495 PPI and the exact same resolution of 1440 x 3040 pixels. This phone, too, has Corning Gorilla Glass for protection. The HDR & Always-on Display features have been there since the S7 and it’s been an important addition which is still being used. Both cameras produce unreal results. According to Samsung, they’re portable cameras. They’re THAT good. Samsung fell short when it came to storage space when compared to the S10 series. Though, there’s ample storage space on the device and a monster RAM of 12GB, the phone was expected to have a storage capacity greater than or at least half of the S10+ i.e an astonishing 1TB. The maximum storage space they gave in this device is 256GB which may be a lot but when compared to the S10 series, it’s way too less. A microSD slot supports up to 1 TB.
Since one primary camera is considered old-school now, almost every phone coming out this year has more than one primary camera. Same is the case with most of this year’s Samsung phones. The Note 10+ has 4 primary cameras. Whereas there’s only one secondary camera. Running on Android 9.0 with an option to upgrade to 10.0, exactly the same as most Samsung phones coming out this year, the Note 10+ doesn’t offer much when it comes to its operating system. Just like the S10 series, this phone also has Samsung’s very own One UI 2. Weighing in at 196 g, the phone has two Hybrid Dual SIM slots. With an Octa-core processor, an Exynos 9825 chipset and a Mali G-76 GPU, the Note 10+ has a slight edge over the S10 Series.
The S Pen, the Note’s sidekick, has been one of the main attractions of the Samsung Galaxy Note series. The new S Pen is the most advanced and feature packed S Pen to date. The S Pen can now be used as a clicker for presentations. Another cool feature is that, the S Pen can now detect actions in the air by doing a handful of gestures, you can take pictures without pressing on the screen or setting a timer. Volume can also be increased or decreased by gestures now. Whatever you write, is instantly turned into text form. For the creative people out there, the S Pen now has AR Doodle which brings out the creativity inside of you. Draw and play around with the pen and let your creativity do the rest, turn live pictures and videos into your own masterpiece.
4300 mAh battery and a 30 minutes lightning fast charging time, what more could you want? The Note 10+ is bound to last the whole day after a 30 minutes charge, according to Samsung. Now that’s what you call a big battery life. Since, the charging is lightning fast, the phone has a USB Type C slot and supports fast charging at 45W which is quite impressive. To get an Infinity-O Display, Samsung put the fingerprint sensor underneath the screen. Along with that, this phone too is waterproof for up to 30 minutes at a maximum depth of 1.5m. Samsung Pay can also be used in this phone. The phone comes in three main colors. Aura White, Aura Glow & Aura Black.
Though the Note 10+ is missing a few features when compared to the S10 series, S10+ in particular, it is still an absolute monster of a phone. The lightning fast charging, the beautiful bezel less body, the S Pen are some of the key features that make it slightly better than the S10+. The Note 10+ has the highest rated capacity amongst Samsung phones, which makes it a great product for users who are on the go. The unreal picture results along with its cool features make it a must-have cellphone for anyone who has an eye for photography or video making.
